on thursday, i realized that i blow at drawing. like, a lot. we had to do portraits of other people in class. nothing worse than making someone else look more hideous than they really are. and with our fragile egos, its not "wow that person sucks at drawing", its "damn. im ugly." grrr ( Read more... )

Dude I agree with your whole collage thing, like that one newspaper clipping collage that you made is amazing. I also feel like I have seen other cool collage things with pictures that you have made.

And your vet thing sounds rad, am I supposed to be the drummer?

dude. thanks for the support. i appreciate it. like woah. yeah, you've seen my emo journal and calendar that are filled with collages. ;)

oh yes, collaging is the shit. I love to make collages. remember the stranger collages I made in high school? I'm still way too proud of those. I actually have a seperate portfolio that contains collages only.

one of the other things I love to do is making magnets. I take random pictures and put really inappropriate/witty/politically incorrect captions on them.

even as an animation major, I have to tell you-- fine arts drawing is the stuff of poo. I can't do it at all.

YES! i love you kristen. i do think that collage is an under-appreciated artform.

i dont remember the stranger collages... wait, you mean from the stranger newspaper? jogging a memory here... BUT YOU SHOULD BE PROUD! and we should have a collaging party next time you are home or i am at LMU. whichever comes first.

ALSO. i remember seeing some hilarious magnets on rachael's fridge and low and behold she informed me that they were the brainchild of le kreeton. those were fab.

you rock at life. we both do, for we collage and are artists and dont need fuckin figure drawing to prove it to the world. BEHOLD THE REVOLUTION!!!!!!! XOXO
