ted,
thank you for this information. you are being so strong... I hope you know that kristin has to be extremely proud of you for helping her friends while you need so much help yourself.
thinking of you and still praying hard.

Kristin's Passing anonymous April 26 2006, 19:40:24 UTC
All of us who knew and loved Kristin during her amazing days at Holy Names Academy fully recognize the world's loss today - it does not surprise me that this day is over-cast and cool - we've lost a bit of sunshine, for sure.

I spoke of Kristin this morning with my 8th graders at Seattle Girls' School and used her joyous "Carpe Diem" approach to life as a lesson for us all. Kristin definitely heeded Huey Lewis' adage, "We're not here for a long time...we're here for a good time!" The joy and enthusiasm with which she approached every issue was contagious.

My condolences to all who are suffering due to Kristin's premature passing. I imagine she would want us all to hug each other and remember to speak our love at every opportunity. That's something Kristin always did so well.

one more thing, ted:

noel, who will unfortunately not be able to attend the funeral, is thinking of writing something in kristin's honor. would there be any opportunity to read it at the service? or if not at the service, some way to read it for a group?

I am so incredibly upset about Kristin's death. I haven't talked to her since her senior year of high school when I went back to visit all the girls. I was her yearbook editor her junior year, and she was by far one of my favorite staffers. I knew I could always count on her if I was in a jam and needed her help on something. She always kept us on our toes, and put smiles on our faces even at our most stressful times. It always sucks when someone dies, but when someone so completely full of life and loving is gone is hurts a lot more. I can not think of a single person that didn't absolutely love her, and everyone I have called to tell the news to has mentioned 2 things...Her spunk, and her converse shoes. We sure will miss her!

If anyone is going from Capitol Hill and wants some company for the bus and ferry ride, that's where I'm going from.

Thank you for the information, Ted.
