After some tinkering I got the name of the file that wouldn't copy from the install CD and was able to find a "good" version on my other computer. So reinstalled windows again for the upteenth time, then copied the file into the system32 folder, rebooted and tadaa everything works properly again ( Read more... )

Donna went to see the doctor today about her back which has been hurting on and off for about a week now. They said she has to take ibuprofene several times a day and ice it regularly. They said if it continues until Monday then she has to call to see her family physician. They said it looks like "Syatica". Not sure of the spelling mind you ( Read more... )

Things are soso. Financially I've had another hiccup. As it turns out in 2005 I didn't do my Quebec taxes as I was under the impression I didn't need to -- so now I have a Quebec Government request asking for the paperwork for said tax year. Ick.
