Philip's mom mailed me a book that she had been telling me about by an author she loves- which is really a very sweet thing to do (Philip's mom is like the nicest lady ever). Problem is it's her signed copy and I am terrible at books. I'm just rough on things. I'm so afraid of messing up the spine or smudging the pages that I haven't even started

I'd be freaking out if I were you too. I'm rough on books. I'm rough on most stuff. Honestly I'd probably go see if I could find a copy at the library. And then if I couldn't start reading her copy with the promise to myself that I'd be really careful. But, knowing me, I'd still manage to do something to it.
But that is just me! I'm sure The book will be fine! Go ahead and start reading it!

I should try and find it at a library. We're leaving tomorrow and I still haven't even tried to find the library. Maybe I'll start reading it but I'll be super extra careful? ahhh!

The book is "The Queen of the Big Time". It's by an author who is from where they used to live in Virginia. It has recipes in it.
