Unexpected Art, or Things Seen While Wandering

I’m a walker. At home, I take my dog, Gaby, for long morning jaunts through the neighborhoods or nearby state park. When I travel, I try to make time to wander. I take ghost tours, which are great ways to learn the history of an area as well as local legends and scandals. I window-shop. And sometimes, I stumble upon unexpected art.

Very cool!

Our local cider farm has a Banksy, complete with flying rats and hand grenades (it's like that round here). But B is a bit more local to us, being Bristol based, than he is to you! I'll put a photo up on Facebook for you! (can't get it to load here).

I'm sorry to admit that I'd probably paint over a Banksy (or any other artist's work) that was painted on my property without authorization. Sanctioned murals are art. Graffiti is a crime.
