Not sure of the details, but a cop was shot (killed) on the next street over from my house!  Yayyyy! feelin' good in the neighborhood.  My housemate and her boyfriend were stopped and had their car searched  when they tried to leave this afternoon. I am parked blocks away,and it doesnt look like the cops are leaving anytime soon

I had WTOP on in my car this afternoon - 103.5. Every 5 minutes they were talking about the cop that was "shot in the face" in NE and the killer was "still on the loose".

They made it sound like there was a killing spree going on.

Glad to hear you are OK. Are the news vans still circling?

The officer is fine, and only grazed in the face. I was just going on what I was hearing from the neighborhood people.
