Hey,  I've got three teenagers aged 16-18 visiting me this weekend. I have a couple of things planned but, need some more cool ideas!  What is there to do that would be entertaining to teenagers and CHEAP?

Help!

Thanks!

Roller Skating! =) Also, what about a community pool?

I'm taking them out on the boat with David on Sunday. I'm not so sure they would dig roller skating, and I am looking more for things to do here in the city.

It's not quite in the city, but Crafty Bastards is in downtown Silver Spring this weekend.

What do you already have planned?

The Folklife Festival is going on down on the Mall, it's free.

There are also lots of free concerts around. Including the Kennedy Center's Millenium Stage, which is a free concert every night at 6. Need to make sure it's something they would be interested in though.

I am taking them "out" around Adams Morgan and to the Diner for a little taste of nightlife, and water skiing on Sunday. The girls will probably want to do some shopping as well. I was thinking of the folklife festival, I will see if that is something they would be interested in doing. Hey, do you know where that giant sculpture is thats partially in the ground? Maybe kayaaking in Georgetown too.

I believe the sculpture you are taking about (The awakening) has been moved out of DC. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Awakening_(sculpture)

It's the Awakening, and it's gone, used to be at Haines Point. They are moving it to the National Harbor. But there are lots of other outdoor sculptures you could check out with them, could make it a scavanger hunt.

Girls usually love the exhibit of first lady's dresses at American History.

In addition to all the Smithsonians, which are free, I love the National Building Museum, free too.

If they like video games there is the ESPNZone. It's full of arcade games they can all play together, like 4 people racing in the same video game race. Not cheap though...
