I taught the 7 year old how to do laundry last night.

My plan is working.

I started doing all of mine and my brother's laundry when I was ten years old! It can be done!

Oh My God, you must be doing something (a lot of things!) right! My 11-yo still won't close the door when he pees, and will only put his clothes in the washing machine ("it's the one on the *left*, Alex!") when coerced. I want your kid instead!

By the time I was his age, my mom had done the "I'm tired of hearing how you don't have clean clothes, here's the washing machine, here's the dryer, here's how they work, get your own damn clean clothes" thing. And we did.

I still don't close the door when I pee. :)

Although, I will do my laundry. Next, the little guy needs to learn to cook.

I'd be happy if I could get my kids to do the friggin' dishes. I don't mind cooking, but I hate doing dishes.

Hopefully, if your bathroom door was in the main hallway of the house, you'd close it :)

I wonder how much money it would be
(and how disgusting) to ship my laundry over there.
