How many TIMES do I have to TELL you? Whenever you're in a situation like that, just stop and think to yourself "what would Josh Queen do"? Not only is it always effective, but it's often hilarious. People have become aware of the saying "The customer is always right" and seem to think that this isn't just a good defensive motto, but an active, aggressive, philosophy to use on any clerk or salesperson anywhere. Unfortunately since we're so wimpy here in the United States of America we always fold to the loud asshole and give them what they want, feeding into their bullshit. I've seen people fired for making the hypothetical jackass in your story wait in line like a reasonable person instead of catering to their bullshit. You really just have to treat every person who acts behaves that way like a child whose mother never hit them enough while raising them ( ... )
