Well, Clinton did help out with creating the housing crisis. But we were NOT in a recession until near the end of Bush's time in office. When Clinton left office, things were dandy. People were buying houses they couldn't afford, but they had JOBS. And the national debt was a surplus.

Right. but this article was about people saying there were no domestic terror attacks against us when Bush was in office and how there already has been 1 with Obama in the office, and they blamed 9/11 on Clinton. give me a fucking break! I am sick of Republicans trying to re-write history to make them look better (kind of along the lines of the textbook post you made recently). These people doing stuff like this need to learn the meaning of the word "TRUTH"!!

It was pretty funny - Rick Whatshisname on CNN was ranting about Giuliani's statement that there were no terrorist attacks, and one of Giuliani's people called up during the report and said he hadn't meant for it to come out that way. Yeah, well, it did, and he knew it would. It's like in a trial - you don't need to prove it, you just need to say it and get it in people's minds. And people have incredibly short memories, even for extreme things like that. History shows it over and over.
