I really, really love this and I love how you described Cas and his relationship to his family as an angel-baby. I already read the last part of this story (yeah, I know, bad me =)...) and I love everything in this. THIS is what should happen in season seven's premiere. I loved Balthazar's reminiscences of the family, how they all looked out for innocent Castiel and taught him so much. Of course, that made Lucifer's fall all the more tragic and made the idea of him torturiung Castiel for three thousand years all the more terrible. But it also gives us hope. As Balthazar pointed out; if all that torture by his beloved brother didn't spoil Cas' goodness, then maybe it won't be impossible to reach him now.
