RE: CHENEY - Scary (but not necessarily surprising) stuff. Not that I would accuse everybody with power in Washington DC of this, but I bet you that kind of stuff has gone on across every presidential term we've been alive for than we want to know... it's just a matter of who gets called on it and when. I don't mean necessarily CIA counter-terrorism related hush-hush stuff; just generally, I mean back-door, illegal hush-hush stuff.

RE: GOOGLE OS - Agreed. I would make the analogy of swimming at the stream on this one. The water is cold, and Google appears to be dipping their toes in and feeling it out. If they really want to play and gain a market share, I'd suggest jump and go for it. Either they'll be greatly rewarded, or they'll come out screaming "It's TOO COLD!" But, what do I know? I'm in construction! :P

RE: KINDLE - That is amazing irony. Two great books, both of which seem to be perfectly suited for the digital age considering their message. Weird goings-on with that publisher... weird goings-on indeed!
