Went to see a talk by Robert J. Sawyer on the responsibilities of science and sci-fi writers. It was fabulous. The cherry on top? Jay Ingram did the introduction! Eiiiiiii!

I also started my new job. Commuting will take some adjusting to. Surprisingly there are a lot of people from Toronto who don't speak French and who did a one year regulatory

Crowd's reaction when Jay Ingram suddenly appeared was priceless. WHAT an awesome talk. I must keep a closer eye -- in fact, I did see some other talks coming up, so I'll keep you apprised :)

Hang in there with the job. Transferral is definitely an option eventually, someplace more bus-friendly. But in the meantime you and I can trade 118 tales.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention one of best parts of yesterday was Morty falling asleep on my lap. He is such a good-natured dog. Good job. :)
