I'm hanging in there. Had a kidney stone a few weeks back. Bill came to 2700 dollars. Needless to say I have NO WHERE NEAR that amount. I will see if I qualify for free care ( Read more... )

What's the difference between a Floridian in a hurricane and everyone else?

I was hoping it'd be bad enough for them to close the schools so I could sleep late, then did a happy dance when they did.

well, Florida has had a chance to recover since the 4 that hit last year. My uncle is still waiting for the insurance company to reimburse him for the roof. If I can recall, alot of Florida really needed the water, New Orleans, not so much. I'm honestly surprised that Florida doesn't get hit with a hurricane or two EVERY year with so much coastline.
