Hey Chance, when you're ready for people you know in the audience, let me know. My boyfriend loves stand-up and we'd like to come hear your stuff!

awesome man! It is about time you got on stage and inflict your comedy on more than just your roommates.

I can just picture you up there:
"I'd like to share some observational humor. I hope that you can identify with it it.

Don't ya hate... when you're in bed with two women..."

Oh the laughter.

But seriously, that's very cool. I wouldn't be worried about laughing at other people's stuff. As far as I know there is no commandment against laughing at something that is funny, even if it is crude or dirty. The way I've always seen it is that funny is funny; being vulgar or crude does not make something funny. Stuff is funny because it is clever or off-beat or there's an unexpected twist, so it's not the subject matter but the situation that makes a joke. In that way I think it's okay to laugh at whatever you think is funny because youre not laughing at the words or the subject, you're laughing at the twist. If that makes any sense.

Keep it up Chance!

Yeah, I hear you. thanks for the encouragement....ahha..Yeah I remember that 'observational humor' thing from Jim Carrey, I have it on my ipod.

I'm a big Mitch Hedberg fan, I'm guessing you're familiar with his stuff?
