Maybe try to burn the file to a CD or, even better, put it on a flash drive or something.
Alternatively, if it's just a heat thing, you could set up a temporary cooling system or something. Put some ice in a plastic bag, cover with a paper towel or something, put underneath computer. That woul work as a cooling system for the time it takes to move one file to the network. Totally unworkable for any longer than that, but that's a separate issue.
