Krycek was pretty sure that this kid thing? Could have been better (mostly by simply not happening in the first place), but so far, it also wasn't terrible

Josh sniffed the air before opening his eyes and smiling happily. "'Offee!"

--Which was apparently not actually going to happen. Krycek sighed slightly and looked at Josh, arching an eyebrow. "Not done yet, though."

"Otay," Josh said agreeably. He knew that sometimes coffee smelled like coffee but it wasn't really coffee yet. He shifted until he was curled up against daddy's chest. "Papa up?"

Krycek glanced at Jake, who was still deep asleep, and then shook his head. "Not yet. He'll wake up when the coffee is done," he said, though his voice was quiet anyway.
