God save the queen, 'cause tourists are money

Scones and tea. Mmm... Beatles and James Bond. Crumpets and curry, indie rock and hooligans, rain, smog, lords and pale, thin guys with wonky teeth here I come!

I've booked tickets to London!

After spending ages trying to come up with a brilliant plan for my future that will satisfy all (and me, most of...) I'm abandoning the ship to do what I like best: Indulgence of the Self.
I'm leaving for London this Sunday, with a return ticket to Oslo where I'll drop by to say hi to a few friends if they've got the time (My plane lands an hour to midnight and it'll take an hour more before I'm in town, but I'm still crossing my fingers in case someone decides to be good and let me stay the night.).
I'll meet up with Anna(f(b)t) and Maria(f(t)k) who are there Saturday-Tuesday, and hopefully the three of us will work out smoothly! There's not much hazzle with any of us, but I suppose there's always some tension before the dynamics are settled. I'm making it an uneven race before it's even started, by joining them later... It's like a second nature that I've developed from fear of being let down. (Seriously joking: I mean it, but I'm not miseareble about it.) Also, they've got an other friend in town at the same time, but she's staying at a friend's while we're probably at the same hostel -if I can manage to book a bed in time! I might hook up with some of my old aquaintances, but it's not something I'll make a priority. If it works out, it does.

Appart from chilling out and having a terrific time I'll contact two organisations dealing with street art and a work/travel to see if they've got something for me. If it sounds uplifting I might heed my inner calling and move over for some time :)

I also got an e-mail from my cousin's fiancé -who's got family in Spain- telling me she's been looking at possible opertuneties for me in Barcelona. I don't really know her that well, but she said her mum had given me the premission to borrow (not sure if payment is involved) their appartment 30-60mins from the centre if I couldn't find anything. Shait! I mean, it's getting a job, learning Spanish and forming a network that I see as the biggest challenges, but if I had somewhere to stay it would buy me some time. Wow.
Might reconsider that option then! (Uh, need to e-mail back this nephew of a lady at work. He's a 50-ish guy married to a Spanish woman who'd studied art and commutes back to Norway to work at a uni here. He gave me loads of advice some weeks ago and I completely put off thanking him! -Which doesn't look too smart if I want to pester him for more advice.)

Appart from that I've washed clothes, hoovered and watched Ellen, which is a lot better than what I thought, have a look! :
