It was the ninth rebuke of the morning, and Canon was not happy. Brows lowered, he marched from his workplace towards the chat room across the street. On his way, he passed a moderator and her newb walking along the sidewalk.
"Hey Mod!" Canon heard the newb say. "Isn't that-"
"Don't go near him," the moderator said in a sharp whisper. "Remember what I told you about the dangerous things you can find on the internet?"
Canon turned towards them and bit his lip but couldn't think of anything to say. Frustrated and nervous, he barged into the chat room and looked around.
He spotted a couple of lurkers and almost stepped on a leacher until he finally saw her.
"Fandom!" He shouted. She didn't even get to turn around before he had already pulled her away from Yaoi and Non-con.
"What do you think you're doing?" Fandom asked, head tilted and eyes peeved.
"No, what do you think you're doing?!" Canon replied. "You are the one who's messing around, and people are looking at me badly for it! So stop!"
"Hey," said Rule 34 from a table beside them. "Can you keep the shouting to a minimum? Unless, of course, you like shouting."
Fandom turned to respond, but Canon spun her back towards him.
"You can't keep ruining my reputation like this, Fandom," he gritted. "I won't stand for it."
"Wha-" Fandom stammered. "Ruining your reputation! I don't know what you're talking about. I love you, Canon. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you."
They never finished their conversation, as LULZ barged in the internet with his WHAMbulance and an army of LOLcats and demanded to know the whereabouts of the walrus' bukkit.
SRS BZNZ was displeased.
