Exposition

I have titled this session "Exposition." There was not a lot of plot progression, however there were numerous instances where we began to learn about the characters' personalities. This is bringing back a few memories! Have you converted The Sunless Citadel to 4e? And dropped Meepo?

Exactly, sir! The original "Adventure Path" was my favorite series in 3rd edition -- I love Ashardalon. I'm only cannibalizing elements of it to drop into my campaign, but the original plot has certainly been influential in the campaign so far.

I did drop Meepo. The "kobold whelp handler" would have been the equivalent of that particular character if the party had decided to ally themselves with the kobolds, though he wouldn't have had the same name or provided comic relief. I'm not too big on comedy in my campaigns.

Good stuff! I agree with you about Ashardalon. I ran The Sunless Citadel, The Standing Stone and Bastion of Broken Souls in my 3e campaign. I would have included Heart of Nightfang Spire as well but read a couple of poor reviews which put me off.
