So Green Day was on SNL tonight, and they were amazing, prompting me to get impatient and FINALLY get "AMERICAN IDIOT." It's really rather bizarre. I remember listening to Green Day in like 6th grade and I still love them.After like 10 or so years I finally got to see them last November.

Nice! Yeah, I just checked, and Dookie came out on February 1, 1994. Freshman year of high school! Insane. My dad thought I was joking when I told them that Green Day had one of the biggest, most well-respected albums of 2004 (I'm totally sending it to him this week!). You got much better music in middle school than I did. I sadly still have great affection for bad early-90s hip-hop.

How were they in concert!? They totally rocked last night (I just watched it again with my roommate).

That's so fucking cool. I just got back from walking my roommate's dog (the best dog EVER), and I spent the entire walk listening to them. SO awesome!

That's so sweet! Front row!?!? How'd you pull that off!? They're coming to LA in September or October. I don't know that I can afford to go (or that any of my friends would want to), but if I can, I will!
