I've been doing some pretty random posts lately, sorry about that. I've been all out of whack! But I have exciting news....

I GOT A JOB!!!!!

Yay me and all that. Starbucks called back on monday and offered me a barista job. I'm pretty excited, it's something I know I can do well, and it was fun when I worked there for a summer a couple years back. ( Read more... )

Congrats on the job! :)

And good for you for getting your weight back down. It can be really frustrating to see it going in the opposite direction of what you're striving for but it's good that you stayed determined and didn't get discouraged. :) And I'm with you on lazy-proofing diets. haha. That's usually my downfall when I try dieting .... not the cravings or anything but the total laziness. ;D Good luck, stay motivated. :)

I'm just seeing your 101 list for the first time. I never knew you couldn't drive.... you must live in the city?

#43 is my favorite. I can't believe you had a bad trip to Disney!! I hope you get that one fulfilled many times. I wish I could take you there to experience the Disney Magic. ;D

And #75 is so sweet. :) Grandparents love that sort of thing, it really will make their day to receive a letter from you. Maybe I can help motivate you..... write one today?

Thank you.

I tend to let myself get frustrated and quit but this time I'm trying to tell myself to start over everyday, it seems less overwhelming that way.

Well right now I live in Wilsonville, OR which is kind of a small little town but I grew up in Portland and my friends were all close and everywhere we wanted to go was just a bus ride away. I only had one friend in high school that knew how to drive, and my best friend just learned this last year.

Yeah, Disneyland is sort of a sore subject for me. It was not a fun vacation but I want to go back with a friend (not my family) and change that for sure.

I always feel bad because my grandma sends me cards for holidays and there's always a letter inside telling me what they're up to and I always forget to write one back. So I figured that was a good thing to put on my list.

That's so crazy to me everytime I find people who didn't get their license in highschool as soon as they were old enough. I live in a very rural area where everyone gets their license on their 17th birthday (because my state I think has the oldest age requirement sadly) and everyone owns their own car. haha That's pretty cool though that you were able to just take public transportation though that must be much more convenient at times.

I hope you get to go back too for fun. And if you go to Disney World I will definitely help you plan out your trip. :)

I wouldn't say that it's normal for me to not have my license, I just never really saw the need. And when I was in high school driving scared me, I can be very easily distracted. But I think it's about that time, so I want to learn. Public transportation is never more convenient though. It's nice that you don't have to pay for gas, but it usually takes twice as long to get anywhere.

Thank you.

I actually can't stand the taste of coffee, which is funny since I will be working there. The last Starbucks I worked at it was their goal to find something with coffee in it that I'll drink. No luck though. Haha

haha I'm not a huge coffee fan, either. But I like soy vanilla lattes and vanilla frapps. Other than that I avoid coffee if I can.

I love the creme based frappes and hot chocolate. But that's all I'll drink. And a chai latte if I'm in the mood.
