Is it a lot to ask of someone to be as successful as you are in life? Especially if it is your life partner?

That depends on your definition of successful. Andy has a higher paying job than I do, heck, he's got a title even, but I still feel successful. I think happiness is a better quotient to live by, and not success. Hope you're still smiling, because you got a nice one. (-:
