Just a quick post to let people know I'm still alive. Still depressed about Sirius, which may be over-reacting but I wasn't NOT depressed to start with. August for some reason is ALWAYS a bad month for my depression... perhaps it goes back to just how badly I dreaded returning to school

I don't know if you've looked around at the local shelters, but I found one that is nearby: http://www.hopesafehouse.org/
They charge $58 for cat/kitten and that includes spay/neuter, microchipping, and a bunch of other stuff. They have a few kittens on petfinder.
