Christmas Present?

The Hubs has been without power/heat since 1 on Sunday.  PSO keeps saying "tonight!" and then saying "No, tonight!".  I've been through ice storms like what they are having and they don't freak me out as much as they have those that have lived in OK for so long.

I think I want this for a christmas present...

Sounds like you might do well and invest in at least a small generator. My dad has one that will run the house and has had to use it about 6 times in the past 4 years or so. He said it was well worth the price since they would have been without power for almost a week once. If you got a small one, at least you could keep the fridge and a few lights going. And your water pump- that's kinda important.

You can make due with tons of flashlights and candles, but I'd say that running water (at least cold), a working potty and food is pretty high on the list.
