I think it's also important to note that with abuse, every case is different. That's why there's no fundamental care plan for victims, there are guidelines but until you've met the victim, you can't say "we're going to do this" for him/ her

I'm sorry, I fail, I did not answer, it tied my brain in knots. I suspect I understand what you were asking about now I read the rest of my friends page but that probably means I wont be much use answering it now cos you wanted it done 'Purely Hypothetical'.
I've just answered, but like I said, I found the scenario very vague. And I agree with the poster above that it sounds like the Accuser abuses the Witness.
