My theory is this guy was actually looking to get stabbed with a fork by a pregnant woman, perhaps as part of some obscure or strange fetish.

It's more of a curiosity thing. People always talk about belly and baby size when someone's pregnant. He was probably just trying to imply you're going to have a big baby. But then...he's also a man and therefore not always good at saying such things. ^_~
