CON REPORT
Day II of Comic-Con is go! I was Hirako Shinji, of Bleach, and this guy came up and hit on me. Inner Shinji was like, "DDDDDDDD< DO NOT WAAAAANT unless is Ichigo or Kisuke" Oh, and I HAD TO BIND MY BREASTS. THIS IS A BIG THING FOR ME. I USUALLY DON'T HAVE TO BIND THEM TO CROSSPLAY BECAUSE I'M JUST THAT FLAT. BUT I DID. :D :D :D
Panels were nothing special today - I'm afraid I was unable to get into the Dr. Horrible panel, thanks to a long line, a no-clear policy, and HUNGER. I also...well, I was drifting off to sleep during the Indy Jones panel (It's not my fault! The room was dark and quiet and they were talking about the merits of back-lighting and silhouettes in a film shot!) so I left and let someone else in, someone who'd really want to be in listening to this stuff.
However, after that, I hung with LittleKuriboh's group for a little while before heading off to the Bleach photoshoot.
OH MY GOD. I HAD SO MUCH FUN PARADING AROUND AS SHINJI.
No one recognized me outside of the shoot (I'm actually planning on getting one of the signature hats, maybe dying the coat gray, and building the helmet-mask before DragonCon) but the fun I had in the shoot itself was awesome. I was pimping Orihimes - there was this one who was ADORABLE. She had the boobs for it - flashback!Urahara asked her politely if they were real or costume-enhanced, and it turned out that they were real, which was slightly scary, considering she was fifteen. But she was SO CUTE. She had a real leek, and would sit down in the hall and twirl it. And she didn't mind Shinji-advances for the sake of photos.
The majority of the cosplay was mediocre-to-good. The only real OMG AWESOME costume I saw was one Kyouraku, who was SOOOOO perfect for it. His face, his beard, his hair - I admit, I fangirled him a little. I'll have pics of everyone up later, and I'll trawl cosplay.com for images. ♥
So I got images of me pimping Orihimes and Uraharas. I yaoi'd with the one female Urahara - I HIGHLY doubt the male one would have been willing to yaoi with me. >.<;; Haha, when they asked for a pic with all the boys in the front, I backed up - I forgot I was male today. XDDD I also have a pic of this awesome Aizen - I yelled at him IC, and when he walked by later that day, he waved. I flipped him the bird, and he returned it - double. BEST INTERACTION EVER. I got a picture of myself holding him by the shirtfront, and after I let go he did this WONDERFULLY IC thing - he brushed off the front of the shirt, all disdainful and stuff. <3333 BEST AIZEN EVER. WHOEVER YOU ARE, I LOVE YOU AND I WOULD HAVE YOUR EVIL FAKE-ELVIS-HAIR BABIES.
The group wasn't as big as you'd expect, but it was a lot of fun. And I snapped a candid photo of Stan Lee as he walked by the photoshoot. That'll have to do for Franco - there's no way I'm getting his autograph.
One more day, then we're taking Sunday off to get shown around San Diego. XDDD I still need Max Brooks's autograph, and I need to talk to Slifer about Kubo. But in the meantime, I'm off to watch TAS and Hellboy and go to sleep.
