OHGODTHELIBRARY. I CAME. I'D SEEN IT BEFORE BUT HOMG IT IS GORGEOUS I COULD SPEND HOURS IN THERE AND IS A WONDERFUL REFUGE FROM NEXT-DOOR ROOMIE AND HER LOUD MUSIC. Your family needs to learn how to get along without you. It's not fair for them to lean on you all the time and it's not healthy for you to have to support them. I understand what you mean about ignoring them, though.

That library looks ridiculously pretty.

Seconding Mizu. Right now it's more important to focus on getting used to college - like you said, it's stressful enough. You don't have to cut yourself off - that would suck - but it shouldn't feel like you're still living at home.

Just thirding Sarah and Mizu. You're not living at home anymore and maybe it'll take some lack of contact to make them realize that. Not to the extent of completely ignoring them, of course, but they can't expect you to be around all the time now.

Thanks a lot. Seriously - all three of you. I feel better about this now. I also talked things out with them, so mostly everything's cleared up.

Oh, this library is amazing. If you ever get a chance to go in, take it. *////////*
