I've been meaning to start Sherlock. I got a few of the volumes for my birthday. I'm glad to hear that they are so entirely worth starting RIGHT now. I needed some inspiration.

Might I suggest ANYTHING by Alexander Dumas? He's one of my favorite authors, The Count of Monte Cristo being one of my favorite books. Very talented man.

Oh, Alexander Dumas is AMAZING. I've read Count of Monte Cristo....and am intending to read Three Musketeers - I think he wrote that, not sure.

He is! I'm in love with his style. His books are always very interesting. And, yes, he did write Three Musketeers. Along with the Man in the Iron Mask. I haven't read that one, but I've heard it's very good. I would expect no less, of course.

Victorian England, did you say? I recommend Oscar Wilde, if that's your fancy. He's a great author and I enjoyed The Picture of Dorian Gray very much. Also check out The Importance of Being Earnest; Wilde was more famous for his plays.
