I'm back! :) It was only three days but I did a lot! In addition to going to the House and Castle I went to the Linconshire Parrot Zoo. For the first time in my life I saw Tigers up close. I don't agree with animals being kept in Zoos but all of the animals at the Zoo are rescue animals that have had hard lives and they are seriously looked after : ( Read more... )

Great pictures! So are they haunted too? Did you get a history tour of the place or just take a turn around it on your own? Looked like you had a great time. I was looking forward to that blood red moon last night but it was too cloudy to see anything....so no pictures damn it. Glad your weekend was better. So is this place very far from where you live? : )

Hmm...I had an experience in the castle...I was all alone in the great hall doing a panoramic shot of it and the chest closest to the door, a really heavy wooden thing started to rattle with the catch really getting loud...Also when I was taking a picture of the basement something white showed up in front of the lens >.< I'll post the picture when I can find it :D
I was out during the blood moon...it was a sort of special event for our coven (In other words an excuse to have a party) so I saw it but I wasn't able to get photos unfortunately >.<
A two hour drive to the coast and only a thirty minute drive from there so I stayed in a caravan for the weekend :)

Ooh~ these look great! I can't remember the last time I've been to a zoo- maybe when I was in middle school? (I've graduated college already XD)
The castle looks cool. What caught my interest was the bookshelves (I love books)- I always, always, ALWAYS wanted bookshelves like that in my house if I ever got married with a family. Right now, I only have four shelves in my room for books but I definitely ran out of room- so I have my novels, mangas and magazines on my shelves (it's pretty chaotic) and my medical books/dictionaries/encyclopedias in my shoe shelves (it's obvious which books I care for more XP)

lol, I#m thirty and I've never been to a zoo before, I honestly don't believe in them >.< but this zoo was different all the animals are rescue :)
I wanted to be allowed a day to read them all! They looked so interesting I was even tempted to show my card to prove that I was trained to handle antiquities but I knew they wouldn't let me :'( lol
I have bookshelves like that but I still have piles of books everywhere that don't fit >.<
