You are my tomorrow part final
“My love…” Satoshi breathed some time later when they were once again stated and curled up on the bedroll. Nino was positive that he was never going to get used to the feelings of pleasure that had washed over him from their love making but he was also positive that he didn’t care. Nothing in this world felt better than having his lover inside of him or on top of him. “…Something was found when we were searching the castle…Masaki found it and brought it straight to me…I figured that it was something that you may have brought with you from your time…”
“…Huh?” Nino gasped shakily the fog of pleasure leaving his mind as Satoshi searched in his possessions before bringing out a book that Nino had never thought to see again. The painting was there on the cover and his heart did a skip. “Do you know what it is?”
“A book of some kind which tells the story of my painting of you…” Satoshi answered pulling out the painting that was displayed on the cover and Nino’s heart swooped again. He had had no idea that the painting was already completed “It was just something that I did before painting the main painting of you…In your book it says that this painting was found in the castle…”
“After the fire…I can’t understand…I mean…The fire was meant to destroy everything…There is no records of you or me after the fire…It was as though lord Ohno no longer existed…Most people believed that it was because you died in the fire…”
“…And yet here I am alive with you…” Ohno breathed in his ear and Nino was glad when the arms wrapped around him. He hadn’t expected it but seeing the book again was like an omen. It was as though he was going to be pulled back into that life away from Ohno and the friends that he had made here. It was scary how much he didn’t want to go home back to where his parents didn’t care if he was alive or dead “So, my love…There is a book of it does this mean my painting well liked in the future?”
“…It’s like the Japanese Mona Lisa…” Nino hummed a little before flushing brightly glad that Ohno didn’t know who that was. “…Everybody likes it…It’s worth millions…They have kept your castle as it is now and the painting is kept in my bedroom…”
“I see…Then it is as I suspected…I will not waste my time rebuilding this castle…We will move to my mother’s former home instead…” Ohno whispered gently and Nino spluttered turning back to look at him his eyes wide with disbelief as his mouth dropped open as he asked;
“…Your mother’s home? You have another castle?”
“Not a castle…Just a farm house with some land…My estate manager was taking care of it for me but my castle is beyond repair and I was only living here while at war with Matsumoto…” Ohno explained and Nino gave a strange little nod unable to real process what was being said “But now you have a life debt and I will take my chances…”
“…I will take them with you, no matter what happens with Matsumoto and Akaike…I want to be with you forever…”
“Even if you could get home?”
“I am home…I am home here with you…” Nino announced getting up and ripping the pages of the book into tiny pieces and throwing them onto the makeshift fire. The flames turned a dizzying shade of blue before settling down and for some reason he knew that he really was stuck here. “This is my home and you are my tomorrow no matter what…”
“And you are mine…Together we will face whatever comes…”
