The Honeymoon part 18
Ohno chewed on the inside of his cheek watching his husband who had decided to walk along the coastline while he was talking to Rina. He didn't want Nino to not be by his side but he was confident that as long as he could see his husband he would be able to say what was needed to be said to the woman. He hoped that she would understand that he was happy now and back off but in his heart he doubted that that would be the case. Rina was like a plague infecting everything he around him and now she had already started to infect their honeymoon.
“Satoshi!” A girly voice shouted forcing his gaze to move from the beach to look at the woman that he had thought himself in love with once. There was an almost impish smile on her lips and her eyes were dancing playfully as she ran to meet him “sorry I'm late! I did leave earlier but this is so inconvenient for my hotel!”
“What do you want Rina-chan?” Ohno asked bluntly celebrating the look that passed through her eyes. It was annoying how she seemed to be treating this as some kind of date and not as the blackmail that it clearly was. Rina managed to recover quickly though smiling and pressing herself into his body her breasts almost falling out of the bikini that she was wearing. When they had been married she had been modest wearing little blouses that were buttoned up to the throat and long skirts that barely showed any skin but it seemed that she meant to dazzle and fluster him now and he was thankful for it. The sight of her skin did nothing for him, in fact it made it easier for him to pull away from her his face impressively blank even when she simpered pouting her overly shiny lips saying in a voice dripping with thick syrup that turned his stomach.
“So blunt Satoshi-kun! That boy has obviously rubbed off on you...” She whispered her little button nose wrinkling with distaste but she didn’t let it affect her for long as she gave him a bright smile her head cocking to one side “…I just want to talk to you…We can be friends now right? Come let’s go get a drink…”
“We can stay here…” Ohno answered resolutely his eyes going back down to the beach. Nino had stopped walking now and was just standing with his back to him his face pointed towards the shiny ocean. Ohno gave a sigh wishing that he was with him instead of trying to make small talk with his ex-wife “I’m only here because you threatened my husband…”
“He…He punched me! Me! A girl! He punched me…” Rina repeated several times in case he didn’t hear it the first time and Ohno let out a sigh shaking his head before he turned back to look at her. Her face was heavily made up but if he looked closely he could see the swelling and bruising around her eye and he gave a smile his shoulders rolling in a shrug before he muttered coldly;
“…You have deserved it for a long time…Tell me why you are here and then leave me alone…This is my honeymoon with the man that I love I would like to get back to it as soon as possible…”
“You…I…I made a mistake Satoshi…I never…” Rina simpered her eyes growing suspiciously wet and Ohno wondered if she really thought that that was going to work.
“A mistake? A mistake is leaving the tap on or forgetting about a pan…You made my life hell and now you are back because…Because you know that you were wrong about me…That I have made myself a success…” Ohno hummed slowly saying the speech that he had practiced in his mind while waiting for the woman. It wasn’t perfect, it was awkward and his heart was jumping around like a jack in the box but his voice was clear “Well…You can leave knowing that you weren’t wrong…Oh I am not what you said I was but…But I could never have made myself a success…Kazu did that…Kazu…Saw something in me that you never did…”
“Satoshi…You…You don’t understand…You always misunderstood…”
“I misunderstand some things…Words don’t mean anything to me…And I can’t add up well but...I know that you are a poisonous bitch…I also know that the man you left me for left you penniless…” He said with a smile loving the way her eyes widened in shock. He was surprised at himself for being able to say all of this but he remembered Nino telling him that he was going to learn how to say my beloved in every language under the sun and it made it easy for the words to come out “…You really shouldn’t have wasted your money coming here, Rina-chan…You’re going to need all of it just to live…”
“Satoshi…You can’t…You can’t leave me destitute…”
“…I didn’t, you did that to yourself…If you threaten Nino again I swear that your life will get even harder…”
“Satoshi…I…”
“Good bye Rina…”
