It was pretty good. Couch Hughes, Mrs. Robinson, and Mr. Gillespie are cool. I'm not too happy about this new geometry teacher.

Hey :)

I wanted to let you know I've been studying John 3:5 some. I've been looking back to the original Greek. The word used there for water is "hudatos." I cannot find anywhere in the New Testament that it's ever translated water and implies amniotic fluid, especially not in the writings of John. All of the verses I've read where that Greek word appears means water as in H2O. Based on the use of "hudatos" throughout the New Testament, I feel the water in John 3:5 is H2O water.

I don't know if you'll agree with me, but at least we now know where I stand with regard to this particular verse. I probably won't be bringing this subject up anymore, unless you want to continue discussing it. I think that now you know a little more about my beliefs as I now know more about yours. Thanks for sharing. :)

We don't even call it amnionic fluid most of the time so why do you think they do.... I didn't make this up.... We call it water and we have a big fancy word for it (water breaks).....

What about when blood and water flow out of the peirce in the side... it doesn't say pericardial fluid.... it says WATER. Amniotic fluid is mostly water (we are 70 something percent water). Yes it says water... many schoolars that are strong believers and have been studying the Bible for longer than we have been alive say that this is what it could mean..... it could mean baptism but never before does Jesus refer to baptism like that. In fact when the Bible refers to Jesus and baptism it talks about him making water obsolete ("i baptis w/ water but one comes that will baptise in the Holy Spirit" "I am the living water") not that he said not to get wet.

I don't care to talk about this anymore either b/c we are repeating ourselves over and over again. I did have one thing that you said earlier that I wanted to look at though.

Jesus said 38"You don't know what you are asking," Jesus said. "Can you drink the cup I drink or be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with?" when james and John asked to be at his left and right. Jesus wasn't literally talking about baptism or drinking.... Baptism REPRESENTS death. In some cases the word that is translated into baptism actually means dieing...

Jesus used baptism as a symbol of what was really going on.

I'm not sure if this makes sense but that's all I wanted to say.

God Bless
Krystal
