Belated Christmas Update...

I got presents.

I ate too much.

I developed a random Superman obssession.

'Twas fun.

Now I'm going to go back to writing my book and making icons and cursors for my laptop. Yay! :)

=( *sniff*...B didn't let me get Darla presents years ago. I've got baby books still sitting behind my bed. ^_^ Well, actually, she did give me permission to get Darla something...and then, the night before, changed her mind, just minutes after I got in the door after trapsizing around town. =/ *why don't you tell me these things sooner?*....ooh, but she was scared my prezzie would be over the top, and make her look like a bad Mum. =P And we know we don't want that. ^_^ 'Cos B's an excellent Mum...and I'm....going on about B on Lady K's LJ for some strange reason, writing this to Joey when Joey already knows it. =P

Am, I, like, building a narrative here? Or communicating a phenomenological reality? All attempts to communicate a phenomenological reality will be compromised, 'cos no one can live your life but you, and you can only ever guess what other people go through, or experience in life, you can't experience it yourself as them. Because you're not them. That's why my sister is using an interpretative methodology on her paper. Because, it's a way of saying, in my research, I interviewed X, Y, and Z, and interpreted their phenomenological realities...but it's just my interpretation, and I really don't have a clue, what reality is actually like for them. Great! Ruddy great big tick next to your essay, for making the point your essay could be a load of tosh. That's what it means to be critically aware
