This will probably be a pretty long post. I'm not going to divulge too many details but I feel like I HAVE to at least briefly talk about what went on this past weekend. Normally, this is where some Catholic swings in on their holy rope and says:

"When God closes one door, he opens yet another."

... Well, I know how much you tend to disagree with the theological types. Instead, take that cliche and apply it quite simply. The very best things that you will come across in your life will often be those for which you were not searching in the first place. This is my philosophy:

Sorry you had a rough weekend, but I'm sure you'll get through it and shine even brighter for it! Do what you do best; stay true to yourself and you will find the light that is so conveniently hidden there in the dark. On the bright side (no pun intended), as things darken further, the light becomes easier to follow...

Thanks for the encouragement Jay :) You always know just what to say. And you're philosophy has proven itself in a number of other situations/predicaments...so I have faith in it! I think the philosophy has even begun its work (last night). =)
