So out of the 6 plus we expected to show up from confirmations we received, not including kids and such, only two showed up. As I believe these sorts of things happen for a reason, it gave us an excellent opportunity to get to know two unique people whom we had not met before and it gave us a chance to get to know them well

Is it possible that I might have met them??

I met a couple that sound very similar to them that had home brewed beer at Auryn's yule party a couple of years ago, they were a wonderfully nice and funny couple.
