The downside of being in a serious, committed relationship? Figuring out the holidays…
We actually came up with a plan this weekend and I believe it might work.

Thanksgiving is easy:
Dinner with my family
Desert with his family
Evening of board games & fun with his friends

Christmas is a bit more complicated:
Eve: Fondue dinner with my family and then

i was thinking about that this morning... cuz Kat was going to catch a ride with me down to the bay area to see her family for thanksgiving, but she'd be going by herself... no hubby? I didn't ask. And I was remembering back to when Kyle and I were together and it was really easy to go back and forth between houses cuz our families only lived 17 minutes apart... but once you move out of state or something, like my married cousins, spending the holidays with family - and WHICH family - must be hard...

props to you for being willing to do so much back and forth... i think i'd only just split the day in half. Good luck with that... i'm tired for you already.
