Saw the pic on FB and the steps look great. We're in the same boat with our decaying deck - we got an estimate and it was 5-figure ridiculous for a complete rebuild. I wish we had a bunch of male Amish guys who could run over here and raise a new one in a day or two. :-(

Yeah I hear ya. I figured maybe $300-350, at most. Glad I have a nice and skilled neighbor. Someday I'd love to replace and expand my deck-- and I want composite so I wouldn't have to stain or do much upkeep. Want to do the same with my fence, and the quotes for PVC scared me. Need to win the lottery.
