Weekend plans

Gotta a semi-busy weekend planned. If all goes well and I wake up ungodly early on a weekend, I plan on staining my deck tomorrow morning. I decided to go with a semi-transparent stain instead of the solid, mainly because that seems to be what all the websites suggest. I chose a dark mahogany color, so we'll have to see how it comes out. I was

Very busy weekend-- so ready to sleep. :0 The deck is done, it looks pretty good, as long as I don't focus on the imperfections. When I mowed the lawn today and looked over at the deck , it looked good. Got the major part of the deck done on Saturday, used up the entire gallon. Bought more stain that afternoon, and this morning I did the spindles, lattice, between the board, and touch ups-- used up about another half a gallon, probably need to get another gallon when I do the steps later this summer. The color looks ok, when I looked at the samples again Saturday, I kinda wished I had gotten the oxford brown, but this does look nice
