I agree with the explanation given with the poster. If I keep spelling it Feng it would sound weird in my head. So I spell it Fong too.

Feng is how it would be spelled in some Chinese dialects, I think, but it would be pronounced more like Fuong or Fung.

eh i don't know chinese :p
but Fong is spelled someway like
'phong'_which means 'wind' in may country, another way a lot of word between chinese and Vietnamese are similar :d
so i still call him Fong until Amano or someone can determine exactly the true spelling of his name :)
