I think I've said before that I've only ever watched the series once and, while I liked it, I wouldn't call myself a fan or anything - but I love your version of these two. Your style of writing is so charming I can hardly stand it!

*flails and wibbles* THIS. THIS IS MINE. *glomps it lovingly*

Oh, man. So much to point at and go, "holy shit, THAT LINE." Cain on the good drugs is fantastic and then the whole morning after thing with the banter and awkwardness was so painfully good. And the idea of Ambrose having the much younger brother, who is a doctor, is awesome. Need more of that. *sage nod*

THEN THERE IS THE ANGST. Gawd, the idea that Cain has been waiting for THREE F'N ANNUALS for Ambrose to come back to him. Waiting for Glitch to resurface while having to stare at the same face, the same body that he so clearly adores. IT HURTS. *wail and weep* I love how Ambrose handled that, how he KNEW how much it had cost Cain to sit on the sidelines while Ambrose denied his promise. But he needs a good, firm slap to the head for being such a stubborn ass. :D

Brilliant, all the way through. I am absolutely *thrilled* with this and it was most definitely worth the wait! THANK YOU!! \o/

...we went over this in IM and I gave you the DVD commentary. But yes. It drove me insane but it was a labor of love and I loved dumping in little bits from our discussions and...STUFF. But yeah. JULES. And poor suffering Cain and and omg ♥ ♥ &hearts:

You're welcome, dearie, hopefully the next one will come easier.

I really like the role-swapping in this. Both of them definitely get taken out of their comfort zones and become more 3-dimensional because of it. It's not just the grumpy, bitter Cain and the wide-eyed Ambrose. That is my favorite part of it. And I do love the quote that jars Ambrose's memory. I definitely think that all of your hard work was worth it.

Thank you! I really enjoy playing around with character roles to see how they react, so glad it worked out with this one :D

*wibbles* You made me CRY! When we got the flashback where Glitch promised he would never forget. You put the characters--and the readers--through an amazing wringer but they--and we--came out the better at the other end. *glomps you*

we have decided never to be parted in the future

Eeeeee!!!!! Marvelous Land of Oz shoutout FTW!!!!

*hands out tissues* Apparently I put me through the wringer too, it was...a process. I came to a point where I had to skip and write the end just so I knew it was going to be okay ;) And I HAD to use that quote, it just needed to be done.

THANK YOU!
