Hee, yeah, I was watching some guys play one night and got inspired.

Lovely and funny and sweet and touching all at once. :)

"Oh! Well, no reason to tame it down on my account, doll."

This made me smile. Both because I can see her being over-protective and him having to remind her now and then that it's unnecessary, and because it fits in so well with his general game approach to everything.

DG and Glitch looked up from their game, he with a flinch (her voice still made him jumpy) that she soothed with a touch to his hand.

The former won out when it was noted that she was accompanied by her sister adn the former adviser, who were carrying a watering can and a shovel respectively.

This was just jaunty and adorable.

"Patience, Deege, we'll come back in the spring and find out."

Deege has more patience than me, I could hardly bear to wait until the next paragraph to find out what they were! ^^
