girly or not, trying on all sorts of fabulous dress you know damn well you aren't gonna buy is a lot of fun. I had a budget, but that didn't stop me from trying on dresses that were three times the price. It is sort of funny that the sales chica didn't get it; she must not have been paying attention...so, did you find dresses???
Oh, it was a blast! I haven't had that much fun since my best friend in high school and I used to go try on fancy schmancy prom dresses. *grin* We both found dresses that looked pretty amazing (if I say so myself!), but we didn't want to just jump on the first dresses we liked. So we're going to try a couple of other places - we have plenty of time yet - and maybe bring friends along.
