thing is, with a place like a fire station, when people go through stuff together its like life and death situations, and you bond so quickly when you come out of those with someone. it's hard to break in, but you'll get your own group soon enough.

yeah, karen, once you get a few serious calls and ur really working together with a group of people you'll learn to communicate better with each other, you'll have a lot of things to talk about, and you'll form a group of people. Just wait, you'll get your respect with a few more months of experience. I'm sure of it.

yea, it will be fine soon, when i first lifeguarded last year, i was at the bottom. and by bottom, i mean like cleaning closets, toilets, and taking out trash. once you are there are for a while, things should turn out fine.
