Stuck in LA

I'm sitting in the LA airport waiting for the next flights to Auckland and Sydney. I have standby tickets, so no guarantee I'll be there anytime soon. This is so frustrating.

I'm going to Byron Bay, Australia to visit my family...and go surfing, SCUBA diving, and relaxing in the summer sun on the beach in a tropical paradise. So, I'm actually not too upset about the travel hell. :)
