I'm not sure exactly why, but whenever I actually manage to cook a really good dinner for my family, it pleases me no end. Tonight's dinner was relatively simple, really. But still greatly pleased me that people liked it

Seconded. I was flying the other day and I looked down at all the delicious clouds and I was like oh fuck you clouds, you lie and then the lady sitting next to me gave me the O.o but I'm pretty used to the O.o and those clouds do lie.

I love how you say this as if you cooking wonderful meals is such a rarity.

It was however really tasty..and as good at the mushrooms were, I'm really not into eating mushrooms pulled from your ass. YKIOK..but ew.
