If you were in the 7th, you were right by me!

Sorry about the iffy weather.

Try the cassis macaron at La Duree. Wonderful stuff.

Yes indeed, my friends are a two minute walk from the Champ de Mars, so very near you I think.

I got macaroons for my french class; we will do a tasting tomorrow!

Héhé, Ladurée's macarons and Berthillon's ice creams,
i can see you're a real connoisseur :)

Mind to share the list of the finest places
you fancied in the cities you crossed ?

I'm considering Petersburg for summer vacations,
any fine pointers there would be appreciated :)

City fun, well the Embassy in Madrid was superb. Let me keep thinking.

St. Petersburg! What a beautiful city! I know you will enjoy that place . . . Let me look through my notes and see what I can find.

Well, I had the idea to do a degustation of macaroons so I went to Dallayou as well. I plan to do that tomorrow evening in NYC!

Um, Dalloyau most likely :)
*am just realizing how tricky of a name it is for a foreigner to write !*

I have only heard about it though - have never been there,
but i'm always picking ideas everywhere and you're quite
an inspiring person, full of realization spirit,
so i think i may well go spend a moment there this
weekend, before or after Orsay's neo-impressionists :)

You are right, I am sorry I did not write Dalloyau correctly. I went to the one near the Bastille.

I understand their macaroons are softer and less chewy than Laduree. We shall see this evening!

The neo-impressionist show at the Orsay had some great stuff. I hope you like it!
