Happy Friday!

After lunch we left the Champs Elysees neighborhood and headed to the Left Bank, to St. Germain. Our assignment was to photograph cafes, and some of the very famous ones (Cafe Flore, Les Deux Magots, etc.) are all there. They were also full to the gills with tourists! Just look at the Bonaparte, right down the road!

I didn't get a chance to comment before, but I am thoroughly enjoying your Paris photos! I can't wait to go back to Paris with Alex. :)

The carousel and father-daughter photos are too good. :)

Thanks a lot for your kind words!

I'm really glad you enjoyed the shots.

The father-daughter one came from the workshop--we were constantly being told take photos of PEOPLE! So for the first time I did!

ah sweet jeesus, the human condition

of all of these and of all of yours since i've been a guest

the father daughter in the bottom frame move me the most. what quality is this? Is it high enough that it could be cropped just a tad. Focused in on the little one, the papa and the bird. Seriously the beauty of this image is like a fire, like a need, I FEEL it on so many levels.

thank you for this image of sweetness light and love

be well

Thanks a lot for your very kind and encouraging comments!

The father-daughter shot was directly because of the workshop--take pictures of people was drummed into our heads non-stop!

I'm taking them in highest-rex jpeg. When I get better I'll go to RAW (and when I get the 1mb flash card . . .) so yes, it sure could be cropped.

Thanks a lot!

Thanks a lot for the kind comments on the photos.

These were actually the results of the workshop techniques, so I'm glad you see the difference!

I'm really glad you enjoyed them, thank you!

It was a very good day! Thaqnks for commenting.

Well, they do a very rich hot chocolate--the spoon almost stands up in it!

They freeze it and turn it while they freeze it, so it's like a very rich chocolate ice.

Very tasty!
