Happy Wednesday!
We were able to leave the office at a reasonable time and go walk around in Genoa for a while before the dinner. We found out the luggage arrived (oh bliss and joy!) which immediately had me in a good mood.

Plus the Italians have been great about insisting we see something of the city!

I'm really glad you're enjoying the look at this interesting city!
We've been invited to Cinque Terre this weekend, so I am really looking forward to seeing something else of Italy.
If we get the project you will see lots of Italy:-)))

I actually hate Italy, it's
too dangerous a rival as far as historical
cities, lovely language, and great food are concerned =)
The poosh on the table is quite amazing (even i'm doubting if it's not one more fashionnable purse, you never know with the italians =) I don't think that would be tolerated here. In the other hand, a panel stating "Dogs are not allowed on tables" would be just excellent !

Italy is so different to France--in my opinion I cannot compare them. But you are right, there's a lot going on in both locales as far as "historical cities, lovely language, and great food are concerned =) "
Well, if we win the project, the next thing they want me to do is work with other Euro-countries. The Italians had a meeting with officials from La Villette, so there might be some cooperation with France!
But the Italians have made me swear I will learn Italian if we win the project--so another benefit!
The dog (and it was _really_ a dog) was just great--lying there panting in the heat and a waiter bringing beverages for the woman and the dog!
Thanks for your nice comment, and have a good Thursday!
